SIERRA NEVADA SWIMMING RULES AND REGULATIONS

SECTION 9

AGE GROUP TRAVEL FUND

A. PURPOSE

To fund and pay all or part of travel costs of SNS Age-Group all-star teams and their coaches to inter-LSC and/or U.S. Swimming meets when these are outside SNS.

B. CONTROL OF FUNDS

These funds shall be under the exclusive control of the Board of Directors and shall be deposited and managed by the Treasurer, The Age-Group Vice-Chairman shall advise the Treasurer on use of the funds.

C. FUNDING

1. Surcharge - All meets shall collect one surcharge for each individual event entry and for each swimmer in a relay entry to be sent with the report form provided with sanction to the Treasurer within 10 days after the meet.
2. Failure to transmit surcharges - Clubs which fail to report and transmit collected surcharge shall be denied sanctions for meets and their swimmers, if qualified for all-star teams, shall be declared ineligible for the subject teams.
3. All surcharges may be transmitted with the national surcharges in one sum, but the report must clearly distinguish each fund's total.
4. The Age-Group Committee may seek additional sources of revenue with approval of the Board of Directors and shall be assisted in this by the Finance Committee.
